A Mindful Approach
We seek to support and inspire our clients to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Regardless of your level of current health, you can improve your level of well being. We believe that we all have the capacity to thrive and that we all possess the innate wisdom and potential to restore health, create balance, and to promote growth on all levels of being. Our aim is to support this healing and growth as well as to encourage the development of mindfulness and compassionate self-awareness.
Mindfulness is a way of learning how to relate directly to whatever is happening in your life. It teaches us how to become more aware, patient, and present... ...moment to moment...with less reactivity and judgment. We begin to feel more calm, centered and focused in everyday life, and better equipped to deal with obstacles and challenges as they arise. Mindfulness practice also deepens our capacity for greater acceptance and compassion for ourselves and for others. As it strengthens, it allows us to meet all of life's challenges with more openess, kindness and courage.
Our approach is also holistic, which means we encourage attending to the whole person. We take into account the many aspects of our being and our lives, and if distress, illness, or dis-ease in present, we explore and examine possible stressors and imbalances that may be contributing to the problem or that may be the underlying cause.
Maintaining balanced health is an ongoing and lifelong process, that at certain times requires us to seek support. At our center, we offer a range of services and skills that addresses all aspects of being, and if interested, we can work collaboratively to coordinate your care.
